My Mate

my_mate_logoYoung adults often find it very difficult to access information that is specifically tailored to their age and cancer needs which are very unique.  They also often find it hard to know what questions to ask their treating doctors and team while trying to deal with the shock of a diagnosis.

The My Mate Information Kits provide important information and links to reputable resources on all the main questions a young adult with cancer may have.  The FAQ booklet and USB cover the main topics of treatment types, medical teams, fertility issues, financial issues, health and wellbeing and emotional support.  Our members personal stories are also shared in the kit with room for a young adult with cancer to start writing their own story and keep track of their appointments with a diary.

All of our members receive a complimentary My Mate Information Kit which we encourage them to share with their carers, family and friends.

If you would like to receive an information kit, please sign up as a member
