Volunteering For The Warwick Foundation

As we are a new charity, we are seeking volunteers with various experience and skills for different roles.
We have volunteer positions within the following areas:How-You-Can-Help-Volunteering
    • Fundraising
    • Events
    • Data entry
    • Grant writing
    • Administration
    • Marketing
    • TWF street team

You would be expected to commit about 5-10 hours per month, as well as attend quarterly meetings. Being involved in the development of a wonderful cause such as this can give you valuable experience for future careers as well as the personal satisfaction of contributing to the much needed support for young adults on their cancer journey.

We accept volunteer registrations at all times of the year but from time to time we do advertise for specific roles to be filled. These roles are updated on this page regularly.

Volunteer Position - Gala Table Host

We are looking for people who are passionate about the work of the Foundation to volunteer at our third annual gala on Friday 8th October 2010.

The star-studded event includes a formal dinner, entertainment and fundraising. All funds raised will go towards the Foundation`s work supporting young adults aged 18 - 40 on their cancer journey.

We would like to provide our supporters with comprehensive information on how they can raise funds for The Warwick Foundation by holding their own fundraising events whether they are small or large.  We are in need of someone who can help us research suitable fundraising activities and help write a guide that will be accessed online and at our future fundraising workshops.

Every hour a young adult is diagnosed with cancer in Australia. The survival rates for young adults with cancer has only improved by 1% in 30 years.

Whereas children and the elderly survival rates have improved by an average of 30% over 30 years.
