Mates In My Shoes Program

Become a Member And Find Strength In Your Mates

Members-Services-Mates-in-my-ShoesFinding a mate you can talk to who is your age with similar interests and coping with the same disease can seem almost impossible.

Through the 'mates in my shoes' program you can connect with other patients, survivors and caregivers who agree to exchange information and support, and who share other commonalities such as cancer type, time since diagnosis, interests, profession, pasttimes, musical taste and geographic location.

Contact will be made with someone who meets your criteria through email, you may then decide yourself if you want to exchange address and telephone numbers to make other forms of contact. We will be trying to link you up with people in your state, therefore you can have an easier opportunity of meeting face-to-face. We also hope that through this program support groups can be formed around Australia, and we at The Warwick Foundation want to help to facilitate these groups and provide information and resources that suit the needs of a young adult on their cancer journey.

If you are willing to share your journey with other young adults please fill out your details below.
